MARY ROACH

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mary B. Roach, 89, of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 18, 1996, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

She was born Sept. 16, 1906, in Union County, daughter of Henry L. and Mary Elizabeth Wrinkle Coats. She and Roy Roach were married April 24, 1932, in Jonesboro. He died Feb. 12, 1966.

Roach was a member of the United Pentecostal Church at Dongola, and a volunteer at the Church Resale Store.

Survivors include five sons, Harold "Bob", Bill and Kenneth Roach of Jonesboro, Mike and Jack Roach of Anna; three daughters, Mary Bridges of Anna, Helen Johnson of Buncombe, Geraldine Forrester of Glen More, Pa.; two sisters, Bertha Nichols of Marion, Grace Penninger of Jonesboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
