RUBY SEABAUGH

PIEDMONT -- Ruby Seabaugh, 88, of Piedmont and formerly of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 29, 1996, at Clarks Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont.

She was born Dec. 30, 1907, in Bollinger County to Bruit and Ida Propst. She was married to Wilburn Seabaugh, who died June 6, 1982.

She had been a member of Maple United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau and the First Baptist Church of Piedmont.

Survivors include a son, Ralph Seabaugh of Piedmont; a daughter, Helen Hency of Lake Wales, Fla.; two sisters, Lola Long and Helen Welker, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Piedmont visitation is today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Morrison Worley Funeral Chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Allen Calkins officiating.

Cape Girardeau visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John M. Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
