SIKESTON -- James R. Kindle, 71, of Sikeston, died Friday, April 12, 1996, in the Emergency Room at William F. Bowld Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Decaturville, Tenn., son of Robert E. Lee and Bessie Pearl Slayter Kindle. He and Glenda Ruth Michael were married March 24, 1942, in Sikeston.

Kindle owned and operated Kindle Amusement Co. 30 years, and had farmed the past 10 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim and Bob Kindle of Sikeston; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burail will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
