JEFFERSON CITY -- Jewel E. Lubker, 88, of Jefferson City died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born April 25, 1907, in Perry County to John and Frances Weiss Skaggs. She married Henry Lubker in 1924. He died Jan. 30, 1974...

JEFFERSON CITY -- Jewel E. Lubker, 88, of Jefferson City died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born April 25, 1907, in Perry County to John and Frances Weiss Skaggs.

She married Henry Lubker in 1924. He died Jan. 30, 1974.

Survivors include a son, Al Lubker of Jefferson City, two grandchildren and a five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Lubker was a dietitian with the Rossmans School in St. Louis County for many years. She was a resident of Jefferson City since 1975 and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star 496.

Friends may call at Freeman Mortuary in Jefferson City Monday from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at Brown Cemetery in St. Mary's Tuesday at 1 p.m.
