Barbara Jean Headrick, 51, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 1, 1945, at Lexington, Ky., to Charles and Carol Fallow Lunsford.

She married Arthur Headrick on Aug. 14, 1981. He survives.

Other survivors include her mother; two sons, Arthur Gene Lee Headrick of Cape Girardeau and James Lee Newkirk of the state of Nevada; four daughters, Carol Hall, Janet Newkirk, Carla Jackson and Dorothy Emmons, all of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Charles Lunsford and Darrel Lunsford, both of Jackson, and Gary Lunsford of the state of Oklahoma; three sisters, Janet Pasley and Patricia Koch, both of Jackson, and Lana Essery of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m.

Burial will be at McLains Chapel Cemetery.
