DEXTER -- Goldia Frances Summerfield Wright Kight, 93, died Sunday, May 12, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 7, 1902, to the late George and Lizzie Summerfield at Mechanicsburg, Ill. On April 14, 1928, she married John Wright at New Madrid. He died in 1974.

On Sept. 29, 1976, she married Roby Kight at Miami, Okla. He died June 6, 1985.

She was a retired schoolteacher who taught from 1923 to 1970, including 27 years as a first-grade teacher for Dexter schools.

She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Women. She also was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, a member and Past Noble Grand of the Rebekas, a charter member of the Stoddard County Historical Society, and a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and the Stoddard County Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Doris Kielhofner of Oran; a stepson, Roby Kight of Kevil, Ky.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, sister and stepfather.

Friends may call at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at the Rainey Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Hank Foster officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
