HUGH DEBERRY

BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Hugh DeWitt DeBerry of Bloomfield will be held at 1 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bob Holland will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to service time.

DeBerry, 72, died Monday, May 13, 1996, at Jackson Madison County Medical Center in Jackson, Tenn.

He was born June 27, 1923, in Clifton, Tenn., son of William and Rebecca Borough DeBerry. He and Imogene Rogers were married Sept. 13, 1983.

DeBerry had farmed at Bloomfield.

Survivors include three sons, Hughie DeBerry of Kennett, Danny and Johnny DeBerry of Bloomfield; two daughters, Lois DeJournett of Bloomfield, Lofonda Correll of Muncie, Ind., and a brother, Delois DeBerry of Savannah, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
