VELMA EFTINK

ORAN -- Velma Ida Eftink, 78, of Oran, died Wednesday, May 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 17, 1918, at Oran, daughter of Albert and Rosalia Welter Dannenmueller. She and Frank John Eftink were married May 5, 1936. He died Dec. 18, 1970.

Eftink retired as an inspector at International Hat Co. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Norman Eftink of Oran; two daughters, Rose Birkner of Ballwin, Doris Graviett of Oran; three brothers, Cornelius Dannenmueller of Scott City, Leroy Dannenmueller of Benton, Alfred Dannenmueller of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four sisters, Lavana LeGrand of Benton, Viola Dirnberger of Oran, Alberta Lloyd of St. Peters; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7 and KC prayers at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
