DEXTER -- Michael Barnett, 22, of Dexter died here Friday, May 24, 1996.

He was born in Little Rock, Ark., on Aug. 1, 1973, son of Bobby and Faye Smith Barnett.

Survivors include his mother of Dexter; a brother, Farolyn Barnett of Cabot, Ark.,; a sister, Donna Barnett of West Virginia; and grandmother.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Marion Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery near Essex.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today.
