Funeral service for Martha June Bolton, 1837 Georgia, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. The Rev. James Caughlan will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. today.

Bolton, 65, died Thursday, June 20, 1996, at her home.

She was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Jasonville, Ind., daughter of Merrill Otis and Dorothy Ruth Baugh Decker. She and William R. Bolton were married in 1947. He died Dec. 14, 1982.

Bolton was a member of the VFW Auxiliary to Post 3838.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Bolton and William Bolton II, both of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Janice Ponder and Anita Baker, both of Cape Girardeau, and Nancy Ponder of Jackson; her mother of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
