PERRYVILLE -- Truman Ellis, 63, of Perryville died Tuesday, July 9, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Sept. 28, 1932, at St. Louis, son of Orvil and Myrtle Ellis. He and Ruby Shaffer were married Nov. 12, 1976. She died Nov. 9, 1979...
PERRYVILLE -- Truman Ellis, 63, of Perryville died Tuesday, July 9, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 28, 1932, at St. Louis, son of Orvil and Myrtle Ellis. He and Ruby Shaffer were married Nov. 12, 1976. She died Nov. 9, 1979.
Ellis worked in the housekeeping department at Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Hager of Perryville and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Trinity Cemetery in St. Louis.
