BOBBY MIXEN

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Bobby Lee Mixen, Anna Route 1, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Revs. Scott Harner and Kenneth Mixen will officiate, with burial in McGinnis Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Mixen, 50, died Wednesday, July 24, 1996, at his home.

He was born July 21, 1946, at Anna, son of Ed and Ruby Youngblood Mixen. He and Lydia Joan Dirden were married Feb. 4, 1966, in Jonesboro.

Mixen had worked 30 years at Transcraft Corp. He was a member of Local 1330 and Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Eddie Mixen of Anna; a daughter, Carla Mixen of the home; four brothers, Don and Darrell Mixen of Dixon, Kenneth Mixen of Buncombe, Bruce Mixen of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; five sisters, Gladys Carter of Jonesboro, Jean Ferrell of Mundelein, Betty Shelton of Anna, Geraldine Delhotal of Rock Falls, Carolyn Crowell of Anna, and two grandchildren.
