LULA HOLSCHEN

Lula L. Holschen, 99, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 21, 1896, at Wittenberg, daughter of Charles and Pauline Winter Fassel. She and Albert Holschen were married in April 1926. He died in September 1965.

Holschen was a cook a number of years at the former St. Vincent's College. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She lived in Jackson with a daughter before moving to the Lutheran Home six years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Marvalyn Obermiller of Jackson; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
