RICKY DAVIS

MOREHOUSE -- Howard Willis "Ricky" Davis Jr., 33, of Morehouse, drowned Tuesday, Aug. 6, 1996, in a ditch on Highway 114 west of Morehouse.

He was born March 16, 1963, in Sikeston, son of Howard Willis and Sue Pearson Davis Sr. He and LaDonna Joyce Greer were married Dec. 1, 1980, at Benton.

Davis was a member of Morehouse Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Travis, Justin and Eric Davis of Morehouse; his father of Sikeston; his mother and stepfather, Sue and Jim Mims of Olive Branch, Ill.; two sisters, Vicky Hubbard and Mary Dock of Eldon; a stepbrother, Jimmy Mims of Olive Branch, and grandmother, Eva Davis of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.
