DEXTER -- Lowell Mason Mann, 84, of Dexter, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1996, at Dudley.

He was born Sept. 21, 1911, in Gideon, son of Jess and Stella Fisher Mann. He and Lela Chambers were married Nov. 7, 1931, at Gideon.

Mann had lived in the Dexter and Dudley areas since 1950. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; eight daughters, Imogene Parks of Hillman, Mich., Alice Burns of Cedar Hill, Barbara Griesmer of Jacksonville, Ark., Faye Bass of Arnold, Ruth Temples of Dudley, Patsy Reaves, Pauline McCollum and Etheleen Montgomery of Dexter; a brother, Jimmy Mann of Bernie; 26 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, three sisters and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Mike Cochran and Jack Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
