EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Donnie Fay French of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. The Rev. Richard Farquhar will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

French, 58, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Oct. 11, 1937, at Point Pleasant, son of O.B. and Bertha Lulu Moreland French.

French was formerly employed by city of East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Joe Rosson of Charleston; four brothers, Danny, Charles and James Marcum of East Prairie, Donnie Marcum of Wappapello; a special friend, Martha Lee of East Prairie, and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a brother and stepfather.
