Price, 79, died Friday, Aug. 9, 1996, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.

He was born Dec. 23, 1916, in Grand Tower, Ill., son of Richard and Elizabeth Price.

Survivors include five sons, Carl Price of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Michael and Brian Price of Cape Girardeau, Ronnie Price of Lawndale, Calif., Mark Price of Sikeston; three daughters, Linda Ward of Benton, Ky., Sharon Simon of Jackson, Mary Ervin of Zeigler, Ill.; three brothers, Woodrow, Richard and Dennis Price, all of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, son, three brothers and four sisters.
