ANNA, Ill. -- Charles D. Brimm, 73, of Anna, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 9, 1923, in Anna, son of Dee and Vica Young Brimm. ANNA, Ill. -- Charles D. Brimm, 73, of Anna, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 9, 1923, in Anna, son of Dee and Vica Young Brimm. He and Helen Wood were married Jan. 15, 1946.

Brimm was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church and VFW Post 3455. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kathy Calman of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Steven Brimm of Spearfish, S.D.; four sisters, Mary Whitney of Anna, Eleanor Ketchie of Charleston, S.C., Virginia Miles of Collinsville, and Adonis Watson of Anna.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
