MOREHOUSE -- Pauline McIntire, 76, of Morehouse, formerly of Sikeston, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996, at her home.

She was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Warm Springs, Ark., daughter of Thomas S. and Clara Wright Lynxwiler. She and Hudson T. McIntire were married Aug. 8, 1959. He died Feb. 17, 1983.

McIntire was a shoe inspector more than 30 years at International Shoe Co. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ and Morehouse Order of Eastern Star Chapter 450.

Survivors include a brother, Clarence Lynxwiler of Pekin, Ill.; two sisters, Iris Robinett of Sikeston, Joyce Sindle of Peoria, Ill., and two stepgrandsons.

She was preceded in death by a son and brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
