JACKSON -- Private graveside service for Cassandra Dawn Hughes will be held today at Russell Heights Cemetery, with the Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

The infant was stillborn Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her parents, Mark and Katherine Eakens Hughes of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Goldie Eakens of Risco; paternal grandparents, Jerry Hughes of St. Louis, Judy Alexander of Malden; and paternal great-grandparents, Herman and Alfreda Shultz of Malden.
