Funeral service for Nelda Emilie Saupe of Cape Girardeau was held Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Steven A. MacDougall officiating. Burial was in Lorimier Cemetery. Funeral service for Nelda Emilie Saupe of Cape Girardeau was held Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Steven A. MacDougall officiating. Burial was in Lorimier Cemetery.

Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Saupe, 94, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Oct. 12, 1901, in Shawneetown, daughter of Joseph and Wilhilmine Lang Saupe.

Saupe had been a pharmacy assistant at Tenkhoff Pharmacy and Bill's Family Pharmacy. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Trinity Guild.

Survivors include a nephew, Joseph Saupe of Columbia.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
