GRACE O. CHUMBLER

GLEN ALLEN -- Grace O. Chumbler, 90, of Glen Allen died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996, at her home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1905, at Marquand, a daughter of William R. and Bertie C. Smith Hawn.

On Aug. 15, 1925, she married Leonard L. Chumbler, who died May 16, 1993.

She is survived by a son, Gene Chumbler of Grassy; a daughter, Janice Clemens of McKenna, Wash.; four sisters, Hattie Atteberry of Bloomfield, Anice Szafran of Tunas, Unice Lindsey of O'Fallon, Ill., and Inice Greathouse of Coalinga, Calif.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A daughter and two brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Eastern Star of Fenton.

Friends may call Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 9 a.m.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
