DONGOLA, Ill. -- Amy Eddleman, 96, of Dongola died Friday Aug. 16, 1996, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Nov. 28, 1899, in Dongola, the daughter of Rufus and Mary Earnhart Lingle. She was married to Archie Eddleman on March 12, 1919. He died Jan. 15, 1963.

She attended Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Artie and Leroy Eddleman, both of Dongola; Gene Eddleman of Anna and Bob Eddleman of Mounds; two daughters, Lula Belle Porter of St. Louis and Linda McIntosh of Marion, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with the Rev. Dare Aden officiating. Burial will be at Meisenheimer-Mount Olive Cemetery.
