OMEGA BURTON
Funeral service for Omega Burton will be held in St. Louis, with burial today in Laurel Hills Cemetery. Burton, 79, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield. She was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert and Anna Geldmacher Bacon. She and William M. Burton were married in 1941 in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include two sons, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a brother, Melvin Bacon of Cape Girardeau.
