JACKSON -- Bessie M. Sachse, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 26, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 3, 1909, at Mayfield, daughter of Leo and Carrie Killian Yount. She and Leo W. Sachse were married Sept. 7, 1940. He died in March 1957...

JACKSON -- Bessie M. Sachse, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 26, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 3, 1909, at Mayfield, daughter of Leo and Carrie Killian Yount. She and Leo W. Sachse were married Sept. 7, 1940. He died in March 1957.

Sachse was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Vincent Sachse of Virginia; a stepgrandson; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Covington officiating. Burial will be in Jackson City Cemetery.
