ULLIN, Ill. -- Irene Johnson, 73, of Ullin died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1996, in an automobile accident near Ullin. She was born March 23, 1923, in Biloxi, Miss., daughter of John and Mamie Maxwell Harvel. Survivors include a daughter, Margie Johnson of McClure; two sons, Alford Johnson of Doniphan, Mo., Billy Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Goldie Branum of Wetaug; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren...

ULLIN, Ill. -- Irene Johnson, 73, of Ullin died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1996, in an automobile accident near Ullin.

She was born March 23, 1923, in Biloxi, Miss., daughter of John and Mamie Maxwell Harvel.

Survivors include a daughter, Margie Johnson of McClure; two sons, Alford Johnson of Doniphan, Mo., Billy Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Goldie Branum of Wetaug; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be in Alton, Mo.

Crain Funeral Home at Ullin was in charge of local arrangements.
