BENTON -- Clifford F. Hubbert, 69, Benton Route 1, died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 16, 1927, in Fayette County, Ala., son of James T. and Ethel Weaver Hubbert. He and Lois M. Shaver were married June 5, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.

Hubbert was a self-employed farmer, and member of Shady Acres Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David and Philip Hubbert of Benton; two brothers, Robert Hubbert of Sikeston, Andrew Hubbert of O'Fallon; a sister, Mary Roark of Nashville, Tenn.; and six granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan and Johnny Hester officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
