Leon J. Dannenmueller, 86, 820 Perry Ave., died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 29, 1910, in Kelso, son of Otto J. and Annie Blattel Dannenmueller. He and Viola Clara Bollinger were married Nov. 28, 1935, at Benton.
Dannenmueller was an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 45 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and had been an usher. He was a member of Elks Lodge and a member of AARP.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Dannenmueller of Creve Coeur; three daughters, Shirley Palen and Judie Herbst, both of Cape Girardeau, and Janet Singer of Coral Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. An Elks service will be held at 7 and a rosary at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent's, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
