CHARLESTON -- Robert B. Wicker Jr., 58, of Charleston died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Sept. 18, 1937, in Mississippi County, son of Robert B. and Edna Mae McCubbins Wicker Sr. He and Delois Pemberton were married Aug. 16, 1957.
Wicker was a painting and drywall contractor, and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church at Wyatt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Wicker of St. Louis; three daughters, Carma True of Chaffee, Angie Byford of Bertrand, Rhonda Patrick of East Prairie; two brothers, Joseph Wicker of Greenville, Pa., Johnny Wicker of Wyatt; a sister, Ruth Leffler of Charleston; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
