PERRYVILLE -- Edgar A. Weinhold, 87, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996, at Perry Oaks Healthcare.

He was born Oct. 2, 1908, in Perry County, son of William and Mary Schmidt Weinhold. He and Sylvia I. Kassel were married Oct. 6, 1940.

Weinhold was a farmer, and member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Clarence Weinhold of Perryville, Marvin, William, Daniel and Richard Weinhold of Frohna, Terry Weinhold of St. Joseph; six daughters, Darlene Arduini of San Jose, Calif., Marian Jarvinen of Manistee, Mich., Lela Butery of St. James, Janice Weinhold of Frohna, Gladys Barclay of Dallas, Texas, Pauline Bothman of Perryville; a brother, Elmer Weinhold of Brazeau; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 7-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. to noon.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, with the Rev. Luther Herman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
