SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Imogene Anderson will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.

Anderson, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.

She was born Dec. 31, 1907, in Oran, daughter of W.A. "Bill" and Nancy Nannie Wright. She and Adrian Anderson were married Jan. 5, 1935. He died Oct. 12, 1989.

Anderson had owned and operated Sara Jane Beauty Salon, and had been a volunteer at Heritage House. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Harold Randolph of Camdenton; a brother, Bland Wright of Mexico, Mo.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
