SCOTT CITY -- Paul Wayne King, 69, of Scott City died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 28, 1927, at Flat River, son of William Earl and Virgil Temple Black King. King was a truck driver with Super Valu in Scott City, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574, Eagles Aerie and Harold O. Grauel Masonic Lodge 672 in Cape Girardeau. He moved to Scott City in 1962 from Flat River...

SCOTT CITY -- Paul Wayne King, 69, of Scott City died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 28, 1927, at Flat River, son of William Earl and Virgil Temple Black King.

King was a truck driver with Super Valu in Scott City, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574, Eagles Aerie and Harold O. Grauel Masonic Lodge 672 in Cape Girardeau. He moved to Scott City in 1962 from Flat River.

Survivors include three sons, Farron King of Kelso, Martin King of Pocahontas, Jack King of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Cindy King of Cape Girardeau, Marie Covili of St. Charles; three sisters, Nella Brainis of Kenner, La., Doris Blackwell of Columbia, Hazel Watson of Shreveport, La.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 6-8 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at IOOF Cemetery in Bismarck. The Rev. William Dickey will officiate.
