ANNA, Ill. -- Bobby Gene Ray, 64, of Anna died Monday, Sept. 16, 1996, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro.
He was born June 29, 1932, at Anna, son of Oscar and Mae Absher Ray.
Ray was a member of Anna-Jonesboro Elks Lodge 1641 and Anna Moose Lodge 1346.
Survivors include a son, Rick Murray of Carterville; his mother, Mae Campbell of Anna; two brothers, Donald Ray of Anna, Jerry Ray of O'Fallon; three sisters, Marjorie Eddleman and Barbara Giese of Anna, Susie Goins of Jonesboro; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
