JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mac C. McRaven Jr., 82, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Reynoldsville, son of Mac C. and Cora Correll McRaven Sr. He and Mildred Rhymer were married July 27, 1941, in Jackson, Mo.

McRaven worked at Trojan Powder Co. 27 years, and had also farmed. He was a member of Gospel Kingdom Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Doyle McRaven of Jonesboro, Glen McRaven of Garden Grove, Calif.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
