GRACE BLANDFORD
PERRYVILLE -- Grace E. Blandford, 102, of Perryville died Friday, Sept. 20, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 20, 1893, at Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Samuel and Mary Merkell Thomure. She and Joseph C. Blandford were married Feb. 15, 1924, in St. Louis. He died July 17, 1965...PERRYVILLE -- Grace E. She was born Nov. 20, 1893, at Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Samuel and Mary Merkell Thomure. She and Joseph C. Blandford were married Feb. 15, 1924, in St. Louis. He died July 17, 1965.
Blandford was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Blandford of Perryville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
