Graveside service for Jean Eva Hutson of Potosi will be held at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with Dr. Neil Stein officiating.

Gum and Son Funeral Home at Potosi is in charge of arrangements.

Hutson, 81, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1996, at her home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1914, daughter of Elexander and Lou Ann Estes Hutson.

Hutson was reared in Cape Girardeau and attended the public schools. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri, a master's degree from Columbia University in New York, and took 45 hours of credit at Washington University in St. Louis.

She had been a member of numerous professional, national, state and local organizations.

Survivors include special friends and caregivers, Marjorie Bust and Ellen Bowen of Potosi, and Bonnie Nace of Mineral Point.
