MARBLE HILL -- Kenneth Ray Angel, 48, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau following a tree trimming accident.

He was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Marble Hill, son of Marion and Loretta Barks Angel. He married Vernadine Stevens on Oct. 25, 1994.

He was a mechanic for J.W. Chevrolet in Marble Hill and was of the General Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife and parents, all from Marble Hill; a son, Kenny Angel of Ellington; four brothers, Charles, John, Tom and Tim Angel, all of Marble Hill; two sisters, Faye Gidden and Phyllis James, both of Marble Hill; four stepsons, Steve and Danny Statler, both of Brewer, Mike Statler of Marble Hill and Rodney Beard of Marquand; four stepdaughters, Pat Shrum, Lisa Myer and Evelyn Fox, all of Marble Hill, and Linda Howard of Patton; and a grandson.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill.
