PUXICO -- Funeral service for Lawrence G. Clark of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Corinth General Baptist Church. The Rev. Ray Placher will officiate, with burial in Rock Hill Cemetery.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Puxico is in charge of arrangements.

Clark, 84, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996, at his home.

He was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Puxico, son of Silas Monroe and Kate Conwell Clark. He and Margaret Hoth were married Jan. 29, 1941, in Butler County.

Clark was a teacher at Hobbs and Mangrum Schools, and later was a livestock and grain farmer. He was a member of Corinth Church. Clark was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
