LOYD STATLER
OAK RIDGE -- Loyd Statler, 72, of Oak Ridge died Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 16, 1924, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Dempsa and Emma Biri Statler. He and Viola Bender were married Sept. 11, 1949, in Cape Girardeau. She died Sept. 29, 1990...OAK RIDGE -- Loyd Statler, 72, of Oak Ridge died Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 16, 1924, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Dempsa and Emma Biri Statler. He and Viola Bender were married Sept. 11, 1949, in Cape Girardeau. She died Sept. 29, 1990.
Statler worked on the family farm all his life. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Old Appleton.

Survivors include a son, Randy Statler of Oak Ridge; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother and sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Janet Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
