PERRYVILLE -- Henry H. "Hank" Murray, 67, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Bollinger County, son of Jesse and Bertha McGraw Murray. He and Verla Mae Yamnitz were married July 16, 1955. She died Aug. 8, 1988.
Murray had been a carpenter with Kennon Construction Co., and also farmed. He was a member of Crossroads Methodist Church, Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders Association, and Perryville Saddle Club.
Survivors include a son, Edwin Murray of Wentzville; a sister, Mary Chartier of Ely, Minn.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. to service time.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J. Michael Davis officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
