CAIRO, Ill. -- Nathan Michael Smith, infant son of Michael and Elisa Smith of Cairo, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1996, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Jessica and Katie Smith, both of Cairo; and paternal grandparents, Troy and Bessie Smith of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by a brother and maternal grandparents.

Graveside funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the IOOF Cemetery in Charleston.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
