GERALD WILKERSON

TAMMS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Gerald A. Wilkerson of Algonquin will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Jimmy Keller will officiate, with burial in McCrite Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 11 a.m. to service time.

Wilkerson, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1996, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

He was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Anna, son of Gerald and Ruby Wilkerson. He married the former Ruth Hutoff.

Wilkerson was formerly of Tamms. He worked 25 years at Otis Elevator Co.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Greg Wilkerson of Michigan; two daughters, Geraldine Rogers of Northlake, Susan Coine of Algonquin; his mother of Tamms; a sister, Joan Orsburn of Tamms; and four granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.
