DUDLEY -- Rose A. Brown, 89, of Dudley died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1996, at the Vintage Villa Nursing Center in Dexter.

She was born Feb. 24, 1907, in Paragould, Ark., the daughter of Perry D. and Lula Walker Feagan. On Nov. 11, 1922, in New Madrid, she married Lee Brown. He died March 29, 1979.

Brown was a former resident of East Prairie and Portageville, moving to Dudley in 1961. She was affiliated with the Baptist church.

Survivors include a daughter, Flora L. Swofford of Wappapello, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons and three brothers.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John McFarlen officiating. Burial will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.
