DEXTER -- Funeral service for Joe Clippard of Dexter will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Bob Grissom will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.
Clippard, 48, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 9, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wallis A. and Hazel Mullen Clippard.
Clippard was an engineer and worked as a consultant for Magna Corp. and Chrysler Corp. in St. Louis. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Eagles Lodge in Dexter.
Survivors include a son, Todd Clippard of Hamilton, Ala.; a daughter, Bethany Williams of Malaysia; his mother of Dexter; two brothers, Mike Clippard of Dexter, Jim Clippard of Roanoke, Va.; and three grandchildren.
