MARBLE HILL -- Mary Emmeline McGlothlin, 91, of Marble Hill, died Friday, Oct. 18, 1996, at the Bond Nursing Care Center.

McGlothlin was born Sept. 19, 1905 in Lodge, daughter of Robert Carl and Mary Emmeline Minter Alexander. She and Lee Alexander McGlothlin were married on June 1, 1927. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1975.

She was a housewife and an active member of the community. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Marble Hill and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons: Michael L. McGlothlin of Diamondhead, Miss., and Kenneth L. McGlothlin of Kansas City, Mo; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Marble Hill. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate.
