ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Frances Gardner Armstrong, 58, of Anna died Saturday, Oct. 19, 1996, at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1937, to Lewis and Anna Marie Ditter Gardner. She was married to Martin D. Armstrong in Union County on Sept. 15, 1975. He died Feb. 6, 1990.

Armstrong was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

Survivors include two sons, John Nimmo of Potomac, Ill., and Mike Adams of Anna; a daughter, Anna Adams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, John Lewis Gardner of Jonesboro; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Hileman & Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mound City National Cemetery.
