PERRYVILLE -- Clarence E. "Jim" Coffelt, 76, of Perryville died Friday, Oct. 25, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1920, at Silver Lake, son of Walter C. and Clara M. Henderson Coffelt. He was an electrical lineman and a World War II Army veteran. PERRYVILLE -- Clarence E. "Jim" Coffelt, 76, of Perryville died Friday, Oct. 25, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Oct. 2, 1920, at Silver Lake, son of Walter C. and Clara M. Henderson Coffelt.

He was an electrical lineman and a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, AmVets, Elks and the American Legion.

Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Coffelt of Milwaukee and Walter Coffelt of Los Alamos, N.M., and two sisters, Emma Hudson of Perryville and Genevieve Firestack of Denison, Texas.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. in Young & Sons Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery at Silver Lake.
