MYRTLE M. TIDWELL

CHAFFEE -- Myrtle M. Tidwell, 90, of Chaffee, formerly of Advance, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 2, 1906, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Robert and Altha Wiseman Hitt.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of Advance.

She and Leonard Tidwell were married Dec. 18, 1923, at Jackson. He died June 26, 1990.

She is survived by three sons, Willard and Kenny Tidwell, both of Advance, and Doyle Tidwell of Puxico; a brother, Tom Hitt of Advance; three sisters, Ola Hahs of St. Louis, Irene Vanderford of Chaffee and Lucille Eakins of Advance; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sons.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. J.D. Smith will officiate, with burial in Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
