ERNA MUELLER

Erna Mueller, 67, of McClure, Ill., died at Southeast Missouri Hospital Friday, Nov. 22, 1996.

She was born June 19, 1929, at Wittenberg, Mo., daughter of James and Mary Elizabeth Mullins Gray.

She married Elroy Delbert Mueller July 12, 1945, at Cape Girardeau. He died April 21, 1987.

She worked at Eli Walker's Clothing Factory in Scott City for 10 years.

She is survived by sons, Delbert R. Mueller of Cape Girardeau, David L. Mueller of Valparaiso, Ind., and Martin Mueller, of McClure; daughters, Gladys Retherford and Marilyn Dodd, both of Cape Girardeau, and Carolyn Kissiar of Tamms, Ill.; a brother, Charles Gray of Avon Park, Fla.; sister, Ethel Reece of Flint, Mich; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. Doyle Randol officiating. Burial will be in Lindsay Cemetery at McClure, Ill.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
