ADVANCE -- William E. Hanner, 89, Advance Route 2, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1996, at his home. He was born Oct. 22, 1907, at Arab, son of George and Minnie McKee Hanner. Hanner was a retired carpenter and farmer. Survivors include six sons, William Hanner of Branson, Lyle Hanner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Don Hanner of Hatto, Texas, Larry and Robert Hanner of Bloomfield, James Hanner of Dexter; five daughters, Beverly Mikel of Clarkton, Shelia Loafman of Jackson, Shirley Hanner and Nowatta Wagner of Bloomfield, Sharlene Breedlove of Kennett.. ...

Three brothers, Norman Hanner of Georgia, Glen Hanner of Flippin, Ark., Franklin Hanner of Sturdivant; a sister, Pauline Tidwell of Chaffee; 34 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, a brother and five sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in McGee-New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
